Aletheia Lattice — Legal
Cookie Policy
We use cookies only where necessary. No tracking, no advertising.
Last updated: May 2026
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help websites remember your preferences and keep you signed in between visits.
2. Cookies we use
We use only the following cookies:
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration | Required? |
|---|---|---|---|
sb-* | Supabase authentication session. Keeps you signed in securely. | Session / 1 week | Yes — without this, you cannot stay logged in |
aletheia-lang | Remembers your language preference (English or Spanish). | 1 year | Functional — can be cleared without losing access |
Both cookies are first-party (set by aletheialattice.com itself, not by a third party).
3. Cookies we don't use
We do not use:
- Advertising or retargeting cookies (Google Ads, Facebook Pixel, etc.)
- Third-party analytics cookies (Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Segment, etc.)
- Social media tracking cookies
- Cross-site tracking technologies
Our analytics system uses anonymised event tracking stored in our own database, keyed to a non-reversible hashed identifier — not a cookie and not tied to your email address.
4. Managing cookies
Because we use only essential and functional cookies, there is no cookie consent banner on Aletheia Lattice — the cookies we set either are strictly necessary for the service to function (authentication) or provide a feature you directly benefit from (language memory).
You can clear any cookie at any time using your browser settings:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Clear browsing data → Cookies
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Clear Data → Cookies
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
Clearing the authentication cookie will sign you out. Clearing the language cookie will reset your language to the browser default.
5. Changes
If we ever add new cookies, we will update this policy and notify you in advance. Our commitment is to remain minimal.
